Sarah graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Communication and Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science. She began her career out of school, working in government as a Research Analyst for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Wanting to find a way to directly help individuals dealing with substance use and mental health disorders, she entered the behavioral healthcare field. Working in the area of community outreach, clinical outreach, and professional relations, Sarah has held the roles of Treatment Placement Specialist and Business Development Representative. During her time at previous organizations, she has worked to generate new referral relationships throughout the state of Pennsylvania while growing and enhancing her organization’s footprint through strategic and creative outreach initiatives.

In addition to her career in addiction treatment and business development, Sarah is also extremely passionate about helping others and serving her community. She belongs to numerous organizations, including being the Business Development Co-Chair of HEAL PA (with her two-year term beginning in January 2023), a Manager of Ambassadorship with WeHealUS, a board member for the Suicide Prevention Alliance, a certified QPR instructor for suicide prevention, and a 2023 Cohort for EMERGE PA.
