‘Start the Conversation’ Webinar Series (#2) – Attempt Survivors

Suicide Prevention Alliance will have a series of monthly webinars to discuss what is going on in suicide prevention and how suicide impacts or can impact everyone.
We have decided to name these monthly events, ‘Start the Conversation’ webinar series. We know that starting with a conversation concerning suicide can mean asking for help, helping someone else, or spreading awareness of what we can do to help stop suicides from occurring.
This panel consists of several Attempt Survivors (those who have attempted suicide), openly discussing the overwhelming pain of experiencing thoughts of suicide, the decision to attempt, and the aftermath of connecting with hope and the help that they received to survive today.
