Suicide Awareness Day at the Capitol

Suicide Prevention Alliance will host Suicide Prevention Day at the Pennsylvania State Capitol on September 28, 2021, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Join suicide prevention advocates, suicide attempt and loss survivors, legislators, and mental health professionals for an important day at the Capitol. We will be raising awareness for suicide prevention and offering hope  by the fountain at the rear of the Capitol. In PA, suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death between  ages 15-24, the 3rd leading cause of death between ages 35-44, and the 4th leading cause of death between ages 45-54.
