4th Annual Suicide Prevention Alliance Conference
August 4 @ 9:00 am - August 5 @ 4:00 pm

Our 4th Annual Suicide Prevention Alliance Conference will take place on August 4-5, 2026, at the Best Western Premier The Central Hotel & Conference Center, 800 E. Park Dr., Harrisburg, PA.
This year’s conference theme, Turning Passion Into Action, reflects the powerful commitment of individuals, organizations, survivors, clinicians, educators, first responders, and advocates who continue working to prevent suicide and strengthen hope within our communities. Over the next two days, participants will engage in keynote presentations, breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and collaborative discussions focused on evidence-based practices, lived experience, prevention strategies, and systems change. Together, we can strengthen connections, inspire action, and create communities where every individual feels seen, supported, and never alone.
The goal of the 2026 Suicide Prevention Alliance Conference is to provide a collaborative forum for professionals, survivors, advocates, and community leaders who share a commitment to suicide prevention across the lifespan.
The conference is designed to:
- Increase awareness and understanding of suicide prevention strategies
- Promote evidence-based intervention and postvention practices
- Support collaboration across healthcare, education, public safety, and community systems
- Elevate the voices of individuals with lived experience
- Equip participants with practical tools to strengthen prevention efforts in their communities
Our first Keynote Speaker is Lena Heilmann, Ph.D., M.N.M., Senior Director, Youth and Young Adult Initiatives, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), who will share her personal journey about losing her sister, Danielle, to suicide, alongside practical insights into building comprehensive suicide prevention initiatives that strengthen communities, improve collaboration, and create sustainable impact.
Our 2nd Day Keynote Speaker will be AnneMoss Rogers. After losing her son Charles to suicide in 2015 following struggles with depression and addiction, AnneMoss transformed her grief into a mission of advocacy, education, and prevention. Anne will examine critical gaps in suicide prevention systems, communities, and conversations. Through honest storytelling and practical insight, this presentation explores how grief can become a catalyst for meaningful change.
