Brighid Ivanick grew up in a highway town in New Jersey that experienced one too many suicides. Brighid developed a passion for suicide prevention in high school and has carried that into her graduate and professional career. Brighid graduated with her Masters in Social Work in May 2022 and is now a licensed social worker. She currently works as a bereavement care provider for Philadelphia’s Medical Examiner’s Office, where she provides support for families after a suicide loss. She believes in suicide prevention and postvention working together to care for those struggling.
