Candi Myers

Board Member

Candi is a dedicated advocate for mental health and substance use recovery, residing in Elk County, Pennsylvania. As a passionate mom of five, she draws from her personal lived experiences to support others on their journeys. In her role as the Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator at the Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumers Association, Candi tirelessly promotes awareness, provides resources, and empowers individuals facing similar challenges. She also works part-time at the Clearfield Comprehensive Treatment Center where she encourages recovery and empowers individuals to choose their own pathway to recovery.

Recognized as Advocate of the Year in 2022 by Skills of North central PA, Candi holds certifications as a Recovery Specialist and Peer Specialist, reflecting her commitment to suicide prevention as a loss survivor and building a supportive community. At home, she finds joy in the companionship of her two dogs and her significant other, drawing strength from family and the healing power of connection. Through her work and personal life, Candi strives to create a world where everyone feels valued, understood, and heard.
