Samhar Almomani is a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) with five years of experience in public health and health policy research. He supports federal and state health policy implementation and works at the intersection of research and practice. Almomani has a strong background in Medicare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act and has strong interest in understanding how to improve mental health services nationwide through policy levers. He holds a public health Bachelor of Science from Elizabethtown College and is currently pursuing an MPH in Health Policy at George Washington University.
